Four Young Caring SG Commuters Web Games were introduced to the public during the launch of Caring Commuter Week held at Bedok Town Square on 9 November 2024. These web games were co-created by the Caring SG Commuters Committee and Year 3 students from Singapore Polytechnic’s Media, Arts and Design School, as part of their final year projects. These students are pursuing the Diploma in Media, Arts & Design specialising in Game Design and Development (GDD), Animation and Game Art (AGA), and Music Production (MPD).
2 Targeted at primary school students, these games aimed to educate young commuters about the Four Caring Norms (Give Care, Give a Hand, Give Time and Give Thanks) and the 3As of “Assess, Ask and Assist”. Each game, representing a different genre, guides players through various public transport scenarios, teaching students how they can identify and assist vulnerable commuters.

3 These web games serve as an educational resource for parents and teachers to inculcate caring behaviours on public transport in young children. They are also designed to encourage interaction and bonding between parents and children. The games are optimised for desktop and laptop and the public is encouraged to use a mouse for gameplay.
4 Members of public can visit the “Ride with Me” Exhibition held at Bedok Town Square from 9 to 24 November 2024 to try out the web games. They may also visit the Caring SG Commuters portal at www.caringcommuters.gov.sg/caring-commuter-week-2024 to play the games.
